Is looking really good Lloyd...Is that the bowens .10 post on the front? how much filing is typically nessary?
I already have the info on the Clemments rough country rear sight.
Thanks

Looks real nice, I like the lightening scallops. I made up one kinda similar to yours, except I started with the 5 1/2" barrel, so I would have the fluted cylinders. Cut to 4 5/8, alloy grip frame and ejector housing, and Belt Mt. base pin. Stock sights for now, I'd like to upgrade to what you have. It's my favorite handgun. Mark.

you have it backwards pal. Its a clements front post and a bowen rough country rear. The sights from clements come tall but if you measure your old one he will try to come as close as possible when he makes you one. I pulled that one off my bisley 44 accusport and am having him make another for the bisley with two gold bars. Gat cat i would have liked a fluted cyl with a black powder champer myself but this gun wasnt suppose to even go as far as it did and i didnt want to buck up the cash for another cylinder.

Lloyd,

I would bet that in the end you will get more enjoyment out of your custom above then those high dollar big bores you own. There is something to be said about doing the work yourself! Great job!

its still changing. I didnt really like the dark gray and took a scotch pad to it and it now looks about like a fa field grade finish. I also just had dustin linebaugh offer me a 4440 blued cyl. for free to make it a convertable. Now ive got to figure out how to get it plated cheaply to match.

Lloyd,

Do you want it Electroless Nickel plated? I may have a source for that if that is what you want. I am hoping to send a magazine tube out for my 1895GS to have that done too.
