Northern California Cannon Shoot, Part 2

The Summer Cannon Shoot will be held on June 16 at the Simpson Range on Highway 299 east of the Eureka - Arcata - Mckinleyville area. Practice will take place on June 14 & 15. Smoothbore cannon targets at 100 yds., rifled cannons at 200 yds, and mortars at 150 - 175 yds.The range is 14 miles east of Highway 101 and west of the Lord Ellis Summit. See you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year there were over 30 guns on the firing line.This should be a good shoot if the price of gasoline doesn't chase people away. The current price for regular is $3.60 for a gallon.
