Laminated Thumbhole 243 is Here!

Picked it up this am, stock work is nicely done cept for the usual proud fit at the frame, As has been mentioned, the stock is attached with button hexhead bolt in the t-hole. The barrel finish is nicer than most finishes too, not as nice as older Ultras, but much better than current production Handis. I'm gonna shoot it to see how accurate the barrel is, if it's a shooter, it's gonna become a 6mm Improved. ;)

Tim....that barrel looks to be in the 24" range.... ;D, how the stock "feel"...same LOP? Nice lookin'

It's a 24" bull barrel Ultra Varmint as described on the RR web page, LOP is 14½". Feels good, think I'll keep it!!! ;D

It's only available in 223 and 243 so far, but they list a fluted 22-250 also.

Looks good Tim. Good to hear it finally come through as well.
 I might have said this before, but the buttstock looks identical to the Boyds stock on the XR-100...

Either way, I believe you will like it. It took a little getting use to with my Remington, but I am really liking it now.
