OK I am a little excited, I picked up my 45 BC today and took it to the range. Just a short session as I need to drift the sight over to correct its shooting left. I didn't have anything along to do it with. I had a box of factory loaded Remington 250 grain SWC. I was surprised at the recoil but I guess that steel surprised plate doesn't cushion much shock.
I picked up a 250 pack of 454 diameter Hornady cast bullets. Whats a nice mild load for that bullet. I have AA-5 and 5744
