Guys, I just found out about this and thought you'd like to know.  We lost a good friend.

mt3030 was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday.  God bless him and his family ...

Force in 1989 after 23 years of traveling throughout
the world as a medical services specialist and a

in Maine, his love for the outdoors was reflected in
his ownership and operation of a Christmas tree farm.
He married Michiko Shiina in 1973 in Japan, and they
divorced in 1980. He married Carol Rich in 1981, in
Anchorage, Alaska.
Prior to moving to Great Falls, he lived in Utah,

Wally was a great guy and a well respected member here. A moment of silence and a prayer from all are in order. So long buddy, you will be missed...Andy....<><....:)

I am really saddened to see this news. I enjoyed his posts, especially the pictures of harvested animals.
I did not really know him, but everything I saw indicated to me that he was a very decent & straight up
guy, "salt of the earth". Indeed we will miss him.

We all need to pray for his family. MtJerry, I appreciate you bringing us this news.

That's absolutely terrible. I'm very saddened by this news. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. God is still on the throne and He is still in control. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. A sad loss indeed.  :'(  :(

This is absolutely horrible news.  What a shock to log on this morning and find this out.

He and I had some transactions between us.  I found Wally to be a squared away, common sense type of fellow.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

What a sad day.   :'(

I am truly sorry to hear this.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.  I had a close friend killed on Jan 1 this year in a car accident.  Vehicle accidents take someone so quickly making deaths harder to deal with than one that occurs after a long illness.  No preparation time for the family.

Wally was a great contributor to this forum and a straight-up guy to deal with. I am sorry to hear about his passing. I just talked with a friend a couple of days ago about planning a hunt in Montana this fall and I was going to see if I could connect with Wally while there.
