The failure to eject problem may be a case of a slightly-too-long firing pin, and a little dry-firing. I had the same problem with mine, a buddy dry-fired it several times (when I was out of the room, or I'd have clubbed him with it!) and it raised a small burr on the top of the chamber mouth. Loaded rounds would feed and eject okay, but sometimes fired rounds would hang up, and had to be pried out. (Prying rimfire cases always scares the bejesus out of me, I had one detonate a long time ago, and it almost cost me an eye.) Anyway, I got out my Dremel and my finest polishing bit, and polished the burr out. Now it's fine, though a little finicky when it's really dirty.
As for the 180's not feeding in the 357, is the OAL excessive? It could also be a nose profile that just doesn't like the ramp and chamber mouth. Do 158's feed okay?
