The H&R seems to be a similar design to the old Wurfflein tip up rifles. Wurfflein offered double set triggers on their target rifles. (I have one in poor shape) Several Hi falutin European single shots come with single set triggers. Does anyone offer a double or single set for the NEF/H&R? I wrote to H&R a year ago suggesting this possibility and I never heard anything from them. I'd also like a target rifle in 32-40 for 200 yd offhand, fat chance I suppose. I'd think H&R 1871 could undercut the Italians on some good BPCR guns, if they tried. Lets see, a fly in the hammer and a single set. That would add maybe $60 bucks to production costs. DST's could be even cheaper. The mechanics can't be any different than that used by Winchester in the 1885 Hi and Lo walls.
