Here is our deer pole after two days. We are both using scoped Trackers with either 20 ga. Winchester Partiton Gold 3" or Federal 3" Barnes expanders. Had a good time and we scored some deer as a bonus.

Congrat's to you and your hunting Partner! In about 7 or 8 years, I hope my boy will hunt with his Pa-Pa and our pole will have some harvested deer hanging from it. The wife got her first yesterday with her sidekick.

I noticed tiy have a scope on your shotgun.  How did you mount the scope?

I have a 12 ga Pardner and am at a loss on how to mount a scope or red dot. Everyone tels me I can't drill the thin shotgun barrel

montveil, Some of the others here on this forum have found smiths to drill and tap their 12 ga. NEFs but my smith would only do a 20 ga.  We had already decided to buy the 20 ga. Trackers and our smith checked one out in the store and decided that .250 the thickness of the chamber area on the 20 ga. was enough. He then proceeded and we couldn't be happier with the results.

froghunter, We had to buy the Trackers with pallet wood stock sets but we both preferred the composite so we horse traded and bought some of the composite stocks we have on both our Toppers and Handi's as well as the Trackers. Congrats to your wife on her deer.

db, Nice to hear from you. Hope you and yours are well. We had a great Thanksgiving with the house full of relatives, our adult offspring, and grandkids. Were you able to get out or are you saving it possibly for the smokepole season?
