Looks like you can buy the gun from Hastings:

or get them to rechamber your existing barrel:

There is a great article in the March 2008 issue of GUNS magazine on the H&R 20ga 3 1/2" USH/Hastings conversion ,only bad thing is it voids the H&R warranty.  TF

Not sure why you would want a 3 1/2" USH.   I sshoot 2 3/4 " in mine & it works first time every time on deer.   Come to think about it , i've never seen a 3 1/2" 20 ga. slug.

Sorry, but I have to ask what makes a 3 1/2" slug better than a 12 gauge.  I've fired 3" fosters in my 12 gauge,  and thought that was abusive enough.

I'm more interested in the new ammo than the 3.5" 20ga barrel.  They make the slugs in 2 3/4, 3 and 3.5".
Just curious if this accuracy (and trajectory) is better than other slugs...

I can't speak to accuracy having never shot these slugs but as to trajectory they are no better than most of the slugs on the market.  The BC of the only slug offered as 3.5" 20ga is .110 about the same as a brick.  The sabot doesn't discard until impact so you have 410 grains of brick leaving the barrel at 2000fps.  Now take a 2.75 inch SST with much better BC at 250 grains leaving the muzzle at 1900 and the trajectory curve is much flatter due to the better BC.  I can not see why anyone would choose to shoot 410 grain 3.5" slugs at anything smaller than buffalo.  I also heard from a guy that tested some of these slugs that the recoil is brutal.  I think they could take the 3.5" concept a different direction and offer higher BC bullets at say 2500fps and have something but based on what is available now I don't see the logic.  I also don't understand why they are cutting the H&R barrels down to 19" on these things.
