* Lipsey's #1 "Lion" Rifle Limited Edition .375 Ruger (1 of 250)

* Charles Daly scaled-down Little Sharp's for .22 Hornet & .30-30

* [EDIT: (added) Rossi break-open, nickle-plated Handi-clone SS rifle ]

AFAIK  traditionally means As Far As I Know.

http://www.netlingo.com/lookup.cfm?term=AFAIK

H&R doesn't list an SS slug gun in the 2008 catalog or online, the USH t-hole is blued. But they do list a heavy 24" barrel SS 45-70 Ultra w/t-hole laminated stock with the first ever SS frame, not nickel plated, now if they'd just offer SS trigger guards and spacers, that would be great news.

"AFAIK" is internet shorthand for "As far as I know", and the reason I said that is that some manufacturers release new products throughout the S.H.O.T. show, on different days, ILO everything on the first day.

For instance: The new Rossi, nickle-plated, break-open, single-shot Handi-clone rifle.

It's a marketing ploy, to get the big wholesale buyers to revisit them.

Rangr44, I owe you an apology, there was a 12ga stainless H&R slug gun at the show even tho H&R doesn't list one, Fred M was at the show and reported on it in the NEF forum. I'm really disappointed in H&R this year, they put the Handi-mag 7mm and 300 WM in the catalog and on their website as new offerings, then don't produce them, then they show the stainless slug gun at the show, but don't put it on the website or in the catalog, what a way to run a business! ::)

Sorry,  :-[

Thass alright, quickdtoo - no 'pology needed.  I shouldn't have listed that H&R, since "technically", it isn't a single-shot rifle, being a rifled shotgun.  :)

Or - Maybe it's an oxymoron (rifled shotgun/shotgun rifle).   ;D

  The Little Sharps was shown last year as well i belive buy just recently started becomng available.  I belive another compnay makes them for Charles daly.  This companyalso makes them for their own marketing but they're don'e with much nicer fit and finish and command a significantly higher price. I want one in .357 mag and .38-40 myself.
   The Ruger 450/400 was available this past year but I believe only a single run was made as was also done for the 9.3x74R model.  I've seen the 450/400 at a shop and like the other "H" models, it's awsome!  Were ammo or heck, even the components/dies so pricey, id buy one and shoot black powder loads.
   I've seen a pic of the "Lion" and it's nice.  too nic for what I'd want one of these models for.  seeing how fast theywent and the interested in especially the "Kudo" model (.300 H&H) I put the bug in some ears and it's being considered.  Hopefully it'll turn into something later on.
  The thumbhole H&R's I think were also available last ear as special run model for Lipsey's in some chamberings.
