Rem VTR 308 range report
« on: February 10, 2008, 04:33:50 PM »
This is my second round with this rifle.  The groups are getting better this time but these are my first set of reloads.  The pics are 1.Sierra 150gr Gameking, 43gr H380. 2.Berger 155gr VLD and 48gr Varget. 3.Hoarnady 130gr sp and 43gr H380.

I made one shot with the Sierra grounp and then made a scope adjustment.  The remaining 4 shots were right on.  The squares are one inch.

What make of brass and primers were you using? Any special brass prep? Great targets.

Nosler brass and Fed match primers.  Cool thing about Nosler is no brass work.  Just open the box and start loading.

Nice! Wish I could be out squeezing the trigger on Kate but not when it's -18   :( I'd attempt it if the winds weren't so high.

Time to send this link to Arthur, those groups will make him drool a bit more and maybe make him order it sooner  :D
