Spent the morning building a new bench in my new MAN CAVE ( gun room ) , seeing as this will be the last day I have off till Christmas I figgered that I better get it done , that and with a house full of kids , grand kids and in-laws it gave me a place to hide .

Once its all done I'll get some pics up for your enjoyment .

As you can see , I'm lacking in shelf space for now , plan to fix that in the next few days .

I hear ya...nice set-up Stimpy. Wish I got a whole room to reload in, instead of just a corner. I got a itch to do some loadin', but I need to go empty some cases first.

As you can see I'm still un-boxing stuff and trying to find places for every thing , the new bench is for cleaning , scope mounting & other such projects , the home made drop tube for the BP 45/70 rounds that I load .

It looks like your mancave has a comfortable feel to it!
My cave is narrow and long.... good place to get work done but not a place for the friends to hang out in.

Please enlighten me, in the third picture down, on the right, what is the two by four arrangement with the copper tubing on it? I might be able to learn something new here.

I is only 30'X28'
and was built partially for a place for my hunting buddies to stay
while up in my neck of the woods.
Complete with shower, toilet, wood stove and beer box.
Allows them to burp, fart and just plain be stupid
without bothering my wife

I'd love a man cave but unfortunately no room for one. I have pretty much put reloading on a back burner in my house. I was wondering what you guys think of loading in a garage? We have a 3 car garage and only 2 cars. One bay is empty. My concern is reloading in the heat and humidity of South Florida. Any thoughts here??

throw up a wall, cover and insulate the ceiling
and add a widow a/c unit

i am in north florida and humidity is a concern

How about adding a partition wall and a window AC?

I've had reloading areas in several places in my homes over the years but for the last 16 or so years mine has been in the garage here in Bama with no heat other than an electric heater to warm me on cold days and to open the door on hot ones. Gets uncomfortable at times but at those times I don't reload.
