For the life of me I can not see Remington buying Marlin to offer a Marlin bolt rifle, or shotgun. The 336 I can see and handguns maybe and .22 lr maybe. Remington already has the 700 ADL.BDL and CDLs plus tactical stuff, long range stuff, African stuff, black rifle stuff and varmint stuff. They also have the entry level Mauser style rifles which come with a scope. A Marlin bolt is going to be a stepchild, I'm afraid. They should be reducing their models and cartridge offerings such as the SAUM. With a semi auto and a pump rifle, do they need the levers too or will the lever just divid the same pie into more pieces?
