Here you go - a place to post your pics of fish and game taken in Michigan. But first, please understand that the pictures do not have to be world records by any stretch of the imagination. The only qualification is that they must have been caught, shot, trapped, etc. in Michigan.

Any legal Michigan fish or game will work. Post the pictures of your kid's first spike or the 6" trout you caught in the local stream. Show us that pesky gray squirrel you pecked off from the front porch or the big bull elk that happened upon your stand. It doesn't matter what size, shape or form, as long as you had fun taking it. You can even feel free to post pictures of the beautiful Michigan scenery if you desire.

If you need any help posting pictures, just let me know and I'll help you out.

Here is my 8 pt from Nov 17th. Scaled dressed at 155lb. Best part of it all was my youngest son was there to see it happen.

Very nice longwinters, Big Congrats on a great hunt! I'm happy that your son got to see dad in action. I'll bet he was proud. Also, a big thanks for the being the first person to post his/her picture on this thread. Come on you Michigan hunters, we have an excellent start here, lets fill these pages with more Michigan game.

First picture, 4 pointer from Nov 17, 2007 rifle season, with Ruger M77 MKII in 270 Winchester, Weaver 3-9x38 scope, Hornady 150 grain Interlocks bullet, IMR-4831 powder, Remington 270 Winchester brass and Remington 9 1/2 primers. Approx 50 - 60 yard shot, one shot complete pass through and he only went 10 yards. My first rifle buck.

Second picture, 6 point buck from Oct 31, 2009 bow season, with 28 year old 65 lb Bear Brown Bear bow, 2219 aluminum Easton arrows and Cabelas 125 grain broad head at 12 yards in a tree stand. My first bow buck he ran about 80 yards, took him in the neck down through the front shoulder.

Third picture, adult doe from Nov 26, 2009 rifle (private land owner antlerless license) season with Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight in 338-06 A-Square, Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40 scope with Nosler/Winchester 200 grain silver ballistic tip bullet, IMR-4320 powder, Remington 30-06 Springfield once fired brass and Winchester large rifle primers. 125 yards sitting on the ground, one shot through the heart she rolled over and never moved.

First got my coyote on the 4th, Bow season, 9 point came on 10th of October, 10 point came opening day gun. All just on 5 acres of oak.

My 12 year old daughter took her first deer this past Saturday during Michigan's 2 days youth hunt. She used a Thompson Center Encore rifle in 223 Remington which I hand loaded 60 grain Nosler Partitions with H4895. Her shot was 75 yards broadside and took out both lungs and broke rib bones when it exited. The hunt was on private land in Upper Michigan.

Here is the story,

We went out in the morning, but the sun was in our faces sitting in a 2 man ladder stand and we didn't hunt long. I told my daughter we will come back out in the afternoon.

Around 3pm we headed back out to start our evening hunt. It was slow at first but things started to stir. After the first 20 minutes two does came in, but quickly ran off. Then a young coyote was under our ladder stand and nosed around for mice. Suddenly he stretched out his neck to stare into the woods and quickly ran off in a fright. I then noticed a big black bear, so I whispered "there's a bear". My daughter was shocked, but kept her cool then told me, "there's another bear". These 2 bears were walking about 50 yards on the left of us and never stopped.

OK, so not 5 minutes later a deer came running into our area and stopped at a tree line. We couldn't tell what it was until it walked into the open and we both said "it's a buck". He stopped broadside at 75 yards for a brief second and started to trot off, so I whistled to make him stop, and she took the shot. At the sound of the shot, the deer kicked both rear legs rearward and ran off We waited about 30 minutes and myself with my wife and daughter started looking for a blood trail and found it quickly. My daughter enjoyed following the trail to the dead deer.

I am so proud of her. To keep her cool from all the excitement and place a perfect shot. Here are some pics of the hunt.

Hello every one I shot this big boy 10-1-2011 around 8:00 A.M. I was on the ground in a tent blind he walked out right in front of me 20 ' . He stood there looking right me. then he put his head to the ground I pulled back. Then I let her fly well he only went 60 yards. taxidermist stated he is a 5.5 year old buck my friend and think he dressed out around 200lbs. i seen him two weeks earlier never thinking I would get a shot or see him again he is a 9 point

My H&R .45LC Classic Carbine shooting my own reloads. Using a 300gr. Hornady XTP Magnum over Reloader7 powder.

Well got my first handgun killed deer this season on opening morning. Saw more bucks than normal on my land, but about average doe counts. I shot this guy through the heart and both lungs and got a doe the day after opening. Still processing, so back to work. Just took a break to post pics.

Here's my 2012 opening day buck,

One 200NP through the front end at about 120 yards, and he dropped in his tracks...

A couple days ago i took my 12 yr old great nephue out to my spot with me, to see if i could help him get his "first" deer. Anyway, a spike came out and i told him "too small"... Then several does came out and stood around, and i told him "can't shoot those, they live here on the farm!"

Then this really nice 8 point buck comes out, so i got him lined up with my 700 Rem. rifle, chambered in 240 Wby., and he dropped the buck in it's tracks at a little over 100 yrds away!

He was a happy camper!! lol It was his "first" deer! AND i think his dad was even more excited!! lol
