Good news, bad news, H&R rifle barrels will not be hammer forged, they will be button rifled. Most of the equipment has been purchased and H&R should be making their own barrels later in 2010. Remington does make the H&R shotgun barrels, smoothbore and rifled barrels will be hammer forged.
There will be no new stainless framed offerings for 2010. H&R did a special run for Gander Mountain with stainless frames and may do more if there are special requests.
