Talo Squire ?
« on: December 19, 2009, 10:30:32 AM »
Need a little help(ok maybe a lot ;D) I did search and there has only been one post on the subject. Op did not get any help. Hopefully some one here knows.

Just bought a Handi 12g, with redish stained MC stocks. The side of it says Talo Squire ser starts with AR.
Was just somthing they stamped on the older ones? Or could it be uniquick? I only gave $74 out the door. Has been taken care of and not all beat up ;) Bought it for a christmas gift but may have to keep it ;D

 Thanks Tim.

Tim, I went to the site you posted. They have a very nice H&R Golden Buffalo Classic. But you probably have that one also  ;)

Thanks, hoping Talley will come thru for us and make some real nice parts, I want one for my 38-55 Target, they'd look good on a BC Carbine too!  :)

Took her apart yesterday to check it all out. It has a machined reciever. Would it be safe for higher pressure barrels?

Emailed Talo, to see if they could shed any light on any mods they may have done. Recieved an email back(on SUNDAY) They have no records from back then. :-\

It's still cast iron, they didn't make high pressure frames then, spend a little money and get an SB2 frame and know you're safe.  ;)
