Yep, and Remington is getting $3 per carrier, before shipping! ::) I guess there is no need to make more rifles, when you can fleece the previous customers on the primer carriers? :-\ probably a whole penny's worth of plastic in that carrier too? ;)

Thanks to everyone that emailed me. I called H/R and order 6 packs of 10 carriers this morning. Then I opened my email to see the replies to the place that makes the breech plug........ oh crap what I spent in carriers I could have got the new plug!

You are good for another 4200 shots!

At about $1/shot, that could add up.

you could try to call H&R and cancel the order. Perhaps you would get lucky and they might be able to cancel it, thier shipping is usually slow anyway. A new SS 209 primer holding breech plug is the much better way to go....I suggest you try to cancel the primer holders right now....<><....:)

Thanks for that information, they must be clearancing them out then, the MSRP used to be over $15 for a 10 pack. Still too much for some leaky plastic IMO.

I guess I ASSumed since it was Remington, they were selling them by the piece, since they used "each". Sorry!
