I shot my 32 spec i think 4 or 5 different range trips, all cast bullets, without cleaning it. The other day i grabbed a copper "Chore Boy" at the grocery store. It's basically a copper brillo pad....pulled off a couple strands, wrapped it around a bore brush, dipped it in Hoppes(perfume
), and gave the barrel three strokes with the brush then two patches and it looks like a mirror. Works really good. Just make sure the chore boy is all copper. I hear that some are copper plated steel.....
