This is not good for any of us in my opinion.
Hi Lotec
,
Welcome.
I've been trying to get people on other forums to put 2+2 together.
This "going green" stuff really gets a burr under my saddle !
And, these nitwits are trying to "ban lead". Lead is a common element on this earth.
Still I'd say, they think it's man made. It's been mined as a metal for about 2000 years (more or less).
Just how are they going to destroy this "evil lead" ? Destroy the earth,in order to save it ?
The CBD and others have been behind anti-hunting/anti-gun.
Their ultimate goal is a roundabout way to end hunting, and a way to ban guns in general.
A few days ago, there is a thread about wolf reintroductions.
Here it is: http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,212001.0.html
On the 2nd page, links may be followed. This is in part,is part of that 2+2.
I just got off a forum, wildwest forums. (need to be a member in order to look at the threads.ie: a "closed forum")
In that thread,I posted about the link you've provided,a couple days ago.
The admin,is in denial of those that want to "ban the evil lead" bullets and ammo. He don't think wolves should be killed. He is in the Missisippi Delta area. (Spelling going south today)
Since he is almost a wolfhugger,I don't know if I want to go back or not. Even though,I was given a spot
for "Guntalk".As most of my posts are on the 45 Colt, and 45-70s,primarily with BP.
My pard is a member here.He is in Montana.Him and other watched the deer and elk herds go way down in numbers. And they are not happy about it.
Now, he has a friend there in Montana. And we do think the same.Even though we've never met. We have concluded on the same thing;ban hunting, ban guns.
When you can tie up the courts, the wolves bring down the huntable herds lower. All because they want a political spin of how the wolves are "endangered species".
Someone has said (paraphrased) "There is a reason why the wolves were eliminated".
Throw in "non-lead" ammo/components (bullets),you will have a highly expensive hunt. This in turn can discourage hunters and future hunters from hunting.
Here is Ruger forums.com thread. It too is about banning (possible) lead bullets:
http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=91984 It is several pages. Yes,I am a member.
Please if you will, get the word out.
An agenda,you betcha !
