Of the three hands down the 327 Magnum. Although I don't think it would do one thing my Trotter Specail 32-20 cannot. ;)

Out of the three choices I'd go with the 30 carbine.
Like CW says though... there ain't nothing wrong with my 32-20 Handi. ;D ;D

.30 Carbine.  Lots of .308 bullets, and the first thing I'd do thread it for a "can".
I told my pap and mam I was going to be a mountain man; acted like they was gut-shot. "Make your life go here, son. Here's where the people is. Them mountains is for Indians and wild men." + on the 30 carbine, I also have a Trotter Special though the 32 would be fun. Had a Marlin Model 57 & a Ruger
Blackhawk both in 30 carbine years ago and in the ignorance of youth got rid of both.  Fred

300 AAC Blackout (7.62x35mm), hands down.  ;D

30 Carbine doesn't have sufficient case capacity, and 327 Federal Magnum lack variety of bullets as compared to .308 caliber.

My 32-20 TC has a 308 bore fellas........... It shoots all 308's just fine, and the "32s" are very light weight short bullets, ie the 85 gr hornady 312 dia, which is the most accurate bullet tested @ a .302 avg for 5 - 5 shot groups at 25 yards. The 30 carbine is very length sensitive, and can only shoot 30 carbines. The 300 ACC, what is that that a 7.62 X 39 could not do ? The 327 can also shoot 32 S&W, 32 Long, and 32 H&R mag. The 300 cannot have a matching revolver. The 327 is a snap to reload compared to the others, and you can even use a 32 H&R dies I believe. I waited for decades for some company to do for the 32/20 what they did for the 45/70, but they have not. The 327 is as close as we are going to get. I think that anyone who ever wanted a 32/20 and neve had a chance at one should back the 327 to the hilt, it is the best small game/ target load to come out in decades. We have had dozens of the uber-magnums come and go.... how often do I get a chance to shoot water buffalo??? However, gophers in the back yard...... ::) ::) ;D

.300 ACC (Blackout)

.30 bullets and a trimmed down 5.56 case.  Huge amounts of surplus brass available for forming and that's pretty handy.  Supersonic loading surpasses 7.62x39 and hold it's own with 6.8 SPC.  Shines in subsonic.    I hear it's great to cast for too.

.327 Mag here!

Apprently MANY responders are totally ignorant about the .327 Fed Mag, .32 H&R Mag and .32-20 being able to be loaded with .308 calibers bullets.  All with a 1-10inch twist, 24 inches long for the Encore (or 15in for HG length).

Last year MidwayUSA listed Contender and Encore barrels for sale in .30 Carbine, .32-20 and .32 H&R - all .308 caliber!

But I waited too long to pick up a .32 H&R barrel.  Would'a been perfect for the .327 Mag once the chamber was lengthened to accomodate the 1.200" long .327 Mag case, versus the 1.075" long .32 H&R.

I voted for the 327Fed.  If I want a 300 BLK, I will just get a barrel/bolt for my AR's.   With some problems with barrels possibly being deep chambered (35 Whelen and 7.62 x 39 possibly), I would prefer a rimmed round.   Besides, I can used carbide dies to load.

Roll up, roll,up...
Kinda  reminds me of an old joke my pop used to tell about a town dance and a woman with and cleft pallet and a man with one wooden eye and near deaf ... He finally worked up the nerve and went over to her and asked her to dance... She responded "Wood I, of coarse I wood!" he was taken aback, so he responded "Hair lip, Hair lip" and disgustedly walked away....  ::)

BTW, I'm thinking this has nearly run its coarse... ;) The vast majority wants to see a 327 Barrel offered, self included...

I would go with a 327 out of the 3 listed.  Someone else said one I would like to see, 7.62X25.  I have a CZ pistol in that and it's such a quick lil bugger, would be perfect with a 16-18 inch barrel!  And ammo is really cheap by the can.  DP

Well, here goes the old fart nay sayer.  I don't see any reason for any of them.  I'm not convinced they could do anything that what I already have can't........and ya can't walk into Wal-Mart and buy ammo for them.  Yes, you can get .30 carbine easily......not that it is good for much in my opinion.  It doesn't shoot long, flat, or hit hard......any one of the three would be acceptable.

By and large, I agree with ya Pete!!  But the OP asked a question and needs an answer. So I choose the 327 mag. Its dern near the 32-20 and that one is close to my heart.

I went with the .300 AAC since an AR upper will be soon available for it also. The .300 Whisper has a cult following in the AR world and a lot has been done with this caliber. If it is correct that 9mm can will work with the subsonic loads, this is a definite in my books.
