Florida veterans call Obama flag 'a disgrace' 11 hrs agoLake County, Fla., veterans don't cotton to any tampering with Old Glory. Anyone who dares remove the stars from the flag does so at their own peril - in this case, the Lake County Democratic Party, which decided to hoist a flag with President Obama's image in place of the traditional stars over their headquarters.

im not sure, but i think there are over 100 rules governing what you can and cant do with the flag..
and im sure putting any persons image on it is a no-go too and if not sure as bull snot should be.
come to think of it, the current US troop have the flag on thier backwards. someone noticed it and the official statement was that its supposed to reflect the flag flying , charging into battle ( which is more bs that i dont buy )
this current administration messing with the flag just pi$$es me off to no end

It is indeed wrong for that image to be on the flag, just as it's wrong to use the flag as an article of clothing, something I see often now. The fact that this represents our president makes it 10,000 times worse....

The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner
whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or
handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or
boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising
signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

well , when the shuttle was flown into NY this week, i got a few pics of it mounted on the airliner ..
both the shuttle and the plane had the flag as an emblem .. but they were facing backwards..
this reversed flag issue is really getting under my skin.. and im pi$$ed about it

well i dont believe for a minute that its all mr obummer at the head of this new goverment movement .
i do believe that the government saw a rare opertunity with him and stepped up thier activites.
i dont understand why no one seems to be calling foul about this flag issue.. i thought for a while that i was the only guy to notice they are flying the flag backwards. i called my cousin , who is commanding officer at fort devins in ma. and he said that the flag just started showing up reversed on uniforms and else where without anyone really noticing and no one payed any attention to it, including him.
its now on his mind and he is asking questions too.

People display the flag improperly all the time and it bothers me too. That flag in the picture is not appropriate, but I doubt if it was designed by Obama. I remind people to hang the flag vertically with field on left, show light at night or take it down, don't fly ripped flags etc.

The flag is never to be shown in retreat. If it is displayed on a fixed non moveable surface the stars should be in the upper left. However if the flag is displayed on a moveable object such as a vehicle or aircratf the flag should be displayed as if it were flying in the wind going forward so on the right side of the aircraft the stars would be on the upper right on the left side of the aircraft the stars would be upper left.
This is how it was explained to me after 9/11 when the put flags on all of our rescue squads.
It is displayed correctly here.

The opposition to any current administration will be disregarded until it becomes lawless. You can gripe all you want but to no avail until someone torches that democrat headquarters. Then you will have a voice which will be heard, but not until. Check this out in your history books.
