« on: July 27, 2012, 02:49:34 AM »
Trying to make the barrel lugs to build barrel assy. not avaible from factory. Am have problems with dimensions Has anyone else made and welded  them that can help. been playing with this on and off  for over a year trying to get it right. I have a barrel chambered for 25-20 , just need to get lug built correctly. Have found a place to get lug profile cut with Wire EDM if can get him good dimensions. Also have a place to Tig Weld lug on to barrel.

Check with Numrich Gun parts, they used to have H&R barrel lugs listed on their website for $14.60, I bought 5 about 2 years ago for future projects. I don't see them listed now but they might have some. They aren't heat treated but all the machine work is finished. If I get the chance I will dig one out and take some photos for you.
