Camp Carbine 45ACP
« on: August 14, 2012, 11:14:38 AM »
I bought this rifle about 1993. After two cracked stocks it has stayed in the safe. Now its time to bring this very interesting, fun gun back to life. I ordered a new recoil buffer and a Choate folding stock from Midway. Also from Wolff Springs I ordered a 16.5 and a 21 pound springs. Since I have a Springfield Longslide 1911 and pails full of ammo, this gun in its new configuration will see some substantial range time. The really cool thing is that this rifle and pistol use the SAME magazines... I will keep you posted.

Today I add a new buffer and a new Wolff 21#spring and a Choate Folding stock. I like this new configuration. It is 26 and 1/8 inches long folded, just legal.
