Most report very good accuracy out of the Hornady Light Magnum ammo.

I haven't worked a lot with mine yet, but I have tried the 139 grain Hornady Light Magnum load in my Handi Rifle 7MM-08 and got pretty good groups.

I have also loaded up some 120 grain Seirra's over Varget.  They gave good enough hunting accuracy.  I think with a little more load development, I can get this gun to really pound 'em in tight.
You haven't hunted......Until you've hunted the hunters

I shoot the 120 grain pro hunter in my 280. I just got my 7mm-08 a few days ago and still have not fired it. I put the scope on last night. I put my old Leupold M8 4X scope on it. I have not tried them yet but I am thinking that the Speer 130 grain spitzer should be a good bullet for it. I like the sectional density of it and plan on trying it first. I did get a box of factory loads for it to start with. Of course all they had were the 140 grain Remingtons.
shot placement is everything.
