NEW URL For This Board !!!

At the request of DD we have now registered a new domain name and set it up as a direct link to this board. The new short URL is www.GBOCannons.com and is now active and ready for use.

Okay you guys  when you go to shows with your cannons be sure and post a sign that says:

We talk Cannons at www.GBOCannons.com

Matt will be working again tonight to restore those things that what he did last night messed up. The site changed domains last night. It's really no longer www.graybeardoutdoors.com but now is www.gboreloaded.com and that change shut down all the banners and that link as well.

Matt is aware and plans to try to get it all fixed tonight. Some adjustments and fine tuning will be needed. Just another speed bump in the road. We've gotten past a lot of them in the last ten years and we'll get past this one. The URL will be good again real soon and will remain good for the future.

I'm gonna move this to the Admin section just to be sure Matt sees it as he doesn't visit this forum often.

Just reporting the problem in case it wasn't noticed.  More or less, this is my business too and I always welcome problem reports as they are things that aren't right that I have not discovered.  Makes it easier to do the job when there are extra eyes.

For sure it wasn't noticed by me, might never have been as I'm not really a cannon guy. I do see ALL new posts to the site tho no matter where posted so do tend to catch comments like yours and can call them to Matt's attention. Whether he was aware or not I have no clue. But now that I've moved it for sure he will be.


This change is gonna mess up several things I'm sure. Feel free to call them to our attention when you see them. Neither Matt nor me read more than a few of the forums on the siter personally and while I see the posts in a list I sure don't read them all.

This was a temporary issue that was resolved after the DNS server refreshed. The www.GBOCannons.com domain is just a forwarded domain that points to the cannon board.

ALL BANNERS ARE FIXED NOW AS WELL....

Ahhhh... that would explain it. I always got here by Googling (is that a verb?) "blackpowder mortar forum". GO2GBO came up at the top of the list instead of Graybeard. Thought I was going crazy. Not that this really settles the debate, but hey...
