TGFOGAL,

Thanks for the info.  I plan to get a laser for my 380 and will take a look at this one.

What is the weight of your P3AT with the laser installed? Charlie

The laser is so lite I don't feel any difference. The laser can be left on and touching the trigger guard turns it on.

Do you have a way to weight the gun with laser? I would like to know the weight to help me formulate my decision on which handgun to buy. If you can. Thanks, Charlie

I'm not sure about the weight but this ArmaLite laser is GREAT!  I've used it on one of my friends .380's.  I'm waiting for them to make them for the Kel-Tec PF9 that I just bought.  It senses when your finger is on the trigger so you don't have to think about activating the laser when you need it.

XD9,

Lucky you! The Armalaser part # for the PF9 is: KTK610. Now you need a new holster!!

The only thing I noticed about the Armalaser that I didn't like was the fact that the adjustment screws didn't quite work as windage and elevation.  They seemed to move the beam on a diagonal plane...Other than that, I'm very happy with the product.

My wife purchased the CT laser for the Keltec 380 for my birthday and I'll let you all know my thoughts on it when I get it??  My wife won't give it to me until my birthday (next Thur.) something isn't right here I'm going to be 62 and I have to wait for my present?  I currently have two other CT laser sights for my M&P 357 and my wife's Smith 642.  They are quality units and to be quite frank I always said laser sights were just another sales gimic but after getting one for my M&P and seeing how easily I can engage a target I've went from a nonbeliever to a advocate.  I still believe in learning to shoot sight picture etc. but these laser sights can I believe really can be a helpful tool when push comes to shove.

I have both, started with the armalaser, but did not like the trigger hole switch, and it stayed on for several seconds after removing trigger finger, I now use the Crimson Trace, and love it, (P380) also have a CT for my wife's P32, both lasers performe perfectly, I just prefer the CT. Also CT sends a Galco pocket holster that works great. (free).   Jim   <><

The armalaser weighs 1.2 oz, w/batteries, and the CT is no heavier, so your 380 w/laser would be 9.5 oz, and with loaded mag 11.13 oz. total...... Jim   <><

I have had the Crimson Trace Laser system on my Kel-Tec P3AT for over a year now and the only thing I have had to do i clean the lense, took just about 3 seconds.  I love the thing!

I too, have the crimson trace on my 3at and dont notice any more weight. It seems to square the gun up and makes it a better pocket carry gun which I prefer with the 3at.
