Anyone here have any inside info on when primers and powders might come back on line to local dealer shelves? Reeds Ammo said they are waiting on bullets from Hornady and couldn't fill the 357 MAX order until they got the shipment of bullets with no time frame of when it would happen. Any good news anywhere? eddiegjr

I have been getting primers fairly easily here in WI lately. Powder has been O.K. too. You may have to try another powder if your favorite is not available. Where are you at? Maybe someone can give you some pointers.

My local shops have been loaded with powder, and at least stocking primers for months. I have zero problem getting SRM primers locally as long as I am willing to pay $34/k. Lil gun was $27. Prices suck, but inventory is fine. So I buy 1lb and use it. No more backing up the truck. XTPs have been thin, but you can generally always find another jacketed bullet in the same weight and caliber to shoot. Some of the cast bullet places pride themselves on getting an order in, casting and shipping in one day. Other cast bullet places are backordered 6 months. Not sure why.

I've bought reloading supplies at the "Rock House" gunshop on the West side of Meridian, 18 yrs ago. I wouldn't know if they are still around. Of course mail order is another way to go.
