Yes, they are scheduled to be sold by various Chrysler dealers. I just read that the interior of them have been re-designed for the U.S. market, and Chrysler is now offering training for their introduction.
Once thing that I REALLY wish, is that the U.S., and various European countries would adopt the same emissions standards. There are some really great diesel powered vehicles sold throughout the world that are not brought here, even though the other countries have a high standard for emissions. Fiat makes the diesel 500, that gets much better milage then the gas version does, ditto various German vehicles, etc. In fact, one way the Germany dealt with reducing foreign fuel dependancy is by going to a majority of diesel powered vehicles. I have read that one barrel of crude can be refined into 20 gallons of gas, or 27 gallons of diesel. Add to that the increased efficiency of diesel engines, and it is very clear to see that it really is the way to go. OK, I'll get off my soapbox !!!!
