finally got the cdl 257 wby to the range

had it along with 2 other guns to do some load workup. Shot 4 loads so far. 3 of them shot about 1.5 inch or so at a 100 for 5 shots. 100 grain seirra fb spitzer went 5 into 7/8s of an inch so the gun does have potential. the other bullets were a 115 nos bt a 100 nos bt and a 115 partition. Ive got about 10 more to try yet. All of these were with 7828 and fed match mag primers. Once i get it down to a couple bullets it seems to like ill then try some differnt powders and primers.

Looks like a good start.
I haven't done anything with the 100 Sierra, one 25-06 I used in the past loved the 117SBT.

Ill get back at the load developement tommarow. My youngest grandson has been over for the weekend and he loves to shoot. We had the mp22 and his chimpmunk out yesterday and today he wants to shoot his bearcat and my 22 hornet ruger. Little bugger is 7 and can shoot as well as kids twice his age.
