We have a historic train in a nearby town that runs regular weekend excursions, starting about Easter. A couple years ago, the railroad held a day to
honor veterans.
They honored especilly the "greatest generation" (WW2), by having everyone dress in 1940s clothes, an dhad a small WW2 vehicles and equipment
on display at the turn-around point.
