2007 750 Brute Force
« on: March 31, 2025, 04:03:02 AM »
My son has a 2007 Kawasaki 750 Brute force that will not run very well without the choke on. Back fires some, and pops through the carburetor. I adjusted the valves which didn't make any difference. I'm leaning toward a carburetor issue, but wondering if it could be a fuel filter, or fuel pump issue. If anyone has any ideas on this issue, it would be appreciated.

if it came on quickly id think fuel pump if its gotten worse over time carb problem is more likely. fuel filter id easy to eliminate. if you dont have one bypass it with small piece of tube. also check the plugs if one is brown and the other is white or very light brown you have a carb problem on that cylinder. should have twin carbs so its doubtful both went bad at the same time
