   When my grandson was competing in MMA, he had his wisdom teeth extracted.  It seems intact wisdom teeth invite a knockout !

  Don't ask me why, but it is commonly done with MMA fighters..

never heard that. still have mine and boxed MANY times and was knocked down but never knocked out or even a tko. maybe its that the pros hit harder or maybe in the heavier weight classes.
