It was the first time out with the new R223MBS today. I mounted a nice Bushnell 4x12x40 AO Trophy scope. I had read the rifle prefers 55 grainers. Cuz of the difficult ( to try to walk through ) snow conditions , I was only able to set targets to 50 yds. I had O-ring floated the front hand guard and the rifle was benched on a sand bag. It was an extremely tropical 24 degrees with no wind for a change. Once I got the scope tweaked down my hand loads were doin an inch and a half at 50 yds on the 1st shoot!. I see easy improvment.....maybe in early June when the snow is gone
