Bought a Pedersoli Sharps Model 1874 .45/70 Cavalry Carbine today for about 1/2 price. Very tickled!

Nice, I've been wanting a sharps for a while.

I need to come down and visit your pawn shops. Mine rarely have anything but rusted up Mossbergs.

Swampman, Do you think the pawn shops have better stuff because of the military bases down there?
-
I believe it's because older GIs are passing away and their kids pawn everything to buy drugs or booze.

Forget about the Sharps. Tell me about the paddle!
-
It's a vintage paddle from the 1930s. I bought it in North Carolina. We do some paddling on the Blackwater River.
