First shot I ever fired out of this gun and I scored on a three yr old tom. Took us three hrs and three diff. setups but we finally found the sweet spot. I did realize I need to pattern the gun though. I usually aim for the middle of the neck and the majority of my shot was in his lower neck, I only had two in the head but he is dead and no damage to the breast meat and as a bonus we found a mess of morels. turkey bites and morels yummmmmm.
weight: 21lbs
spurs: 3/4" and 1"
beard: 11"

Yes it was and its not normally how I do things. I am pretty anal about patterning my guns, I have about ten diff types of turkey loads to prove it. I just really wanted to shoot one with this gun and didn't have time to pattern it.
