Title: Handi Parts

I am in need of an extractor for a 22-250 Handi fluted barrel

it fits really nice in a frame I have with a shorted nickel 30-30, and 12ga

only thing is that darned broken extractor

I can't seem to locate one up here in Kanada

are they still available down south?  and if so, are they an exportable part?

if not, what are my options?

You've probably already checked
Numrich/Gun Parts, and they're
probably out as always.

Only thing I might suggest is to
PM Dinny and see if he might have
one to sell. I know he was getting into
gunsmithing more heavily and made
a few Handi parts a while back.
There's a couple of others that I
haven't seen posting in a while.
Maybe if they're still active, they'll
hopefully see your request

Numrich.... been a long time since I tried to get them to ship ANYTHING to Kanada.... no go

I don't think extractors are export restricted, but I certainly have not been able to source any up here

figured I'd reach out to the GB group

The "other gbo" at www.go2gbo.com still has a very active H&R classifieds forum. The one here is not so active. Try there also.

My thoughts also, I generally go there for classifieds and anything related to guns and hunting and get my fill of politics, religion and arguing here :). I am also guilty and wish it were not so... In all honesty I spend too much of my free time here, there and reading much. The rest of the time I waste...

If Numrich won't ship to Canada, then perhaps you could convince someone to order the part & then ship it on to you when they receive it.

I did that for a fella that lives over in Europe some time back when he could not get a part shipped to him directly by the company, so he asked if I would send it to him.

I ordered the part, found out what it cost to ship to his address from mine & he reimbursed me for my costs. He offered to pay me for the time & such , but I refused, as I thought it wasn't necessary.

Well I'll be....   Numrich MAY ship extractors to Canada

it has been a LONG time since I tried something from there....

but alas, "Out Of Stock" on every part I could ever need.
