We had topics worthy of discussion.

Yes, I did enjoy TM's give and take...and though we often disagreed, we were respectful and polite with one another.

..But that is the paast....so, how about you bring up a typical TM statement for discussion.

If only I weren’t computer illiterate. I am unable to post the articles I run across. There were times he would post ideas and I’d think that is just bs and find out later he was right. I’m just stirring the pot, so, I’ll let this one die on the vine...  :)

Some people are just weird.  I have a grand daughter in-law that believes the little submarine that crushed the people going down to the Titanic didn't happen, that they just staged their deaths to hide something.  Even though the guy bought some "out of date" carbon fiber material from Boeing to make the submarine.  Any kind of plastic material that is stored outside in the sun will deteriorate and fade or crack.  I think this is what he bought from Boeing that was not faded or cracked yet, but was out of date for outside storage.  So, it crushed under the sea pressure at the depth they went.  Anyway, this wasn't politics where you don't know what to believe, this was just real people in real life.  No need to lie about it.

I don't believe Jeffery Epstein killed himself, nor do I believe Biden got more votes the popular Obama.

I didn't consider TM a nutcase, but rather a deep thinker.  He and I often did not agree, especially where the Israeli/Arab conflicts were concerned, but
I don't recall a time when he resorted to insults or ad hominum attacks.

Of course, I know nothing about his departure..which may well have been a bad scene by him..

I also miss Bugeye..always a gentleman and a thoughtful one at that..

... But let's just pick up and move on..

Very studious and very intelligent, I enjoyed his posts. Just because someone posts an article or opinion doesn’t mean they are married to it, it’s just open for discussion or debate, unfortunately the knuckle dragging hen peckers here devolve into personal attacks and character assassination instead of debate. Much easier for non thinkers...

TM was exactly right about Ukraine, and the Covid scam. Which I agreed on both with him. Many others called his posts tin foil hat stuff, because they got the jab and didn't want to hear anything bad about it, and many here were all for us sending billions to Ukraine at the get go. Some here were called Putin lovers for critizing the billions sent to Ukraine. Although minds have changed since then, since finding out all the money had nothing to do with saving Ukraine. If that was the case the war mongers in our government would have found a way to stop the war from happening in the first place.

As to Argent I dunno what happened to him. He just stopped coming here, I don't recall banning him at least not under the last name he was using.

Maybe he had a for real heart attack and died this time for real and didn't rise from the dead like last time.

I truly dunno.

Yeah, most of us guys on here are older.  I am 70.  Just had back fusion surgery a month ago, have a-fib heart, and am type 2 diabetic.  If an older person dies, sometimes their spouse doesn't let anyone know or a friend on here doesn't know.

My kids are all about X former Twitter, Facebook, or Tic-Toc.  But at least two of my boys collect guns, hunt and fish when they can, but have families they take a lot of their time.

Considering that you've all been here way longer than I have, it seems that at least some of you could have been doing that all along.

DM, Never seen a blade on the back like that one. Looks like that thing weighs a ton. Was that the purpose of the buy?
It's just a standard 3 point back blade, except it's a HD model made to be able to take the weight/traction of a hundred hp tractor.  Also, it can be adjusted to move in many more ways than a "normal" blade.

It's heavy, but that makes it "cut" good and that's why I was hired to grade the drive I was working on.

I bought "that" tractor mostly to rotary cut (brush hog) for a customer/friend that hires me every year to do a bunch of work for him, mostly rotary cutting around his "cabin",

and he likes and can afford to have things done the way "he" wants them done,

He's a super nice guy and there's a lot to do there, including some logging,

and other things, I have tractors set up to do different jobs there and around here.

Pretty sure TM7 got too pissed at being banned to ever return.

Conan I dunno. He has made many appearances over the years in different guises. I do not believe he is posting currently, wish he were. I think but can't be 100% certain that he was my old friend Rudy who used to post here under that name Rudy.

We communicated via the forums, PMs, emails and phone calls for years. Then something happened. He wouldn't tell me what even when I called him via phone. I think someone on here made some comments that he feared being associated with might jeopardize his job. His company did lots of government contracts and I think at that time he was on one.

I miss my old friend. Back when we had a campfire tales section on the original forum I had a story posted about Rudy's first deer or some such title about the first deer he killed. I'd guess if he were posting again it would be on the original site, I dunno if he is even aware of this one.

Well it didn't take long for the Michigan wonder jumping down my throat again. We have a thread about TM7 and a tractor is put in the mix and a simple statement about why do we talk about tractors and the same ole crap comes out from the same ole Michigan wonder! Even Greybeard was feeling the mystique of TM7 and Conan maybe still being alive and well on this site. It seems this one person who calls me the forum police has caused more people on this site to be erased than any other person. Quite the interesting topic.

Read every comment.

Not used to seeing folks jibber jabber about folks who are here or maybe left, maybe got banned, or not, and some even argue about it with one another.

Yep... kind of interesting...

Logged in just to say so.

Now gonna log out again since what I just said doesn't really matter.
;)

Cya'll~! I'll stop in again sometime. See how folks are doin'. Always like to see & read about interesting stuff.
:)

P.S. - Nice tractor & setup, Drilling Man~! Always nice to see someone make a few frogskins on their investment in equipment.Better than losing 'em at some gambling table.  Nice property there too. Pretty country. ;)

and now we have a new grammar ::) moderator. news flash what anyone posts is none of your business as long as it doesnt break forum rules. if bill doesnt like it HE WILL MOVE OR DELETE IT and sure doesnt need your opinion or mine. seems to me it would be lib college idiots that would worry about grammar on a gun forum.
are you the forum police? DM has been here forever and unlike you is respected and can post about aircraft carriers if he wants
Sounds like people here just want to moan that TM7 doesn't post here now, not respond to other topics. Oh well...
I believe if I'm reading right that the original thread is about TM7 and not tractors. But maybe I'm blind ? who knows? And I for one also miss Conan the Librarian.
I really wish he would get a life, grow up, and please, please start checking his spelling and Grammar. He sounds like Biden giving a speech.  ;D

i come here because i feel like its a bunch of good old guys sitting around the campfire shooting the crap about anything they want without someone trying to control what they say or correct their  grammar. maybe bill should step down and turn over control to you and mule. obviously, you think you could do it better. ive been here since the first days of the original forum and have seen MANY people like you come and go. at least mule has been around for years  can claim to be one of the guys at the campfire. who the heck are you?? just another nobody thats opinion of me or this place aint worth spit! hows dat gramar polise 8). maybe ask bill to at least make you a moderator so you can straighten this place out

IF you buy a smaller tractor, they are ALL foreign made, no matter what name is on it.  BUT, with an AGCO owned brand tractor (like Massey) or a John Deere, the profit does stay in the USA.

farmer we shot deer at had a hatred for deere because he got a bad one and the dealer jacked him around and recommended the kubota for a small one. the used mostly case, IH and cat stuff. but i didnt give a thought to where it was made or more importantly where the money ends up

I’ll side with Goldie and tm7 over you every day of the week. There is an old saying which I believe applies here “ everyone makes the mistake of being young at least once in their life “ how long one has been on this board is meaningless to their earthly experience. I find you to be wrong on most subjects outside of shooting, guns and scopes, yet you prove your absolute ignorance by debating others in a field that you have zeroe cognizance as if you are the truth. I say burrrp to you for this and that is all if not more disrespect that you deserve. Wake up and smell your own crap...

Mule I believe he is incapable of waking up. I also believe nothing can stop his ignorance on this forum. Like I said many have been run off over his inabilities to get along with people. What gets me is why ?

I miss many of the orig. posters that were part of the old forum before Bill let it go. It was truly like a big family with all the good and bad things families experience. It takes all kinds they say, and we had ALL kinds. TM7 was (is) one of a kind for sure as were many others. He sort of let me see into his other life outside of the forum. I liked the man I saw. Still do. He confided in me some life altering things that changed him forever.

I don't know if he ever looks in on the forum (What's left of the old forum) but if he does, I hope things are better for him now.

Personal attacks? Just can't stop foaming out the mouth can you? One of the reasons our country is in the shape it's in now from morons that was to stupid to see that walls would deter people. Yeah you were sure right about that. Just like everything that sputters from your big mouth.

nah it was people like you that never served this country. 8 years in the service and have ive bled and suffered 50 years with 7 initial operations and 12 operations since and another in the near future for this country. broken back, shattered hip and ankle and lost one finger. ive got more metal in me than the bionic man.  now tell us what youve done to do your part. seems to me lip service was the only service you were a part of for the good of this country. at least mule is a vet. dont know if he finished his enlistment or was thrown out though. you? again a big nothing running your mouth is all you do and all you have

Maybe he had a for real heart attack and died this time for real and didn't rise from the dead like last time.

Shortly after his “ time out “ here, he also got banned from the original site do to his big mouth... coincidence? I think not...

We have a local dealer who features KIOTI brand tractors and equipment.  I am told it is a Korean built Kubota.  THey are named Kioti, because a Korean law says manufacturers building in Korea, must build under a "Korean" name.

They sure look just like Kubotas to me   and folks who have them seem pleased with their purchase..
