Title: 7mm-08 / Hornady 154gr. SST loads
Post by: BubbaP on November 24, 2002, 09:41:18 AM
Anyone tried 154gr. SST's in 7-08? I have been using 150gr. Nosler Partitions, but cant get 3 shot groups better than 2 1/2 inches.  Rifle is a Browning A-Bolt MicroMedallion, 20"bbl.  Looking for powder suggestions.
I have bedded the rear of the action, and have pressure on forearm tip, which has helped a little.  My present load is 46 gr. WW760 & CCI mag primer.  Thinking of trying RL15, IMR4350, or Varget with 154gr. SST.
