I bought on in perfect shape yesterday from a friend of mine in 30-06. The price was $350. This is a great feeling gun. What kind of accuracy should I expect out of the shorter barrel.
Thanks

The shorter barrel shouldn't have a detrimental effect on accuracy. If the trigger is good, you should be able to get 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards or better with factory loads. Handloads will reduce group size.
At least that has been my experience with my 7x57 No.1 RSI. Handloads will do 3/4" or better depending on the shooter.

That accuracy will work. I will use this gun to hunt whitetail deer.

Were you wearing a mask and pointing a colt when you stole that rifle? Great deal there, congrats and enjoy. I have one in 270 and it ain't for sale.

Actually I did not have a mask but it was a great deal. I think is was one of those situations were he needed some money and I just happened to have it.
I am usually on the other side of the equation.

It's my favorite woods rifle for deer. I've got a Burris 1-4x compact on it. It's a great rifle - enjoy!
