Title: I got a new rossi and have some questions

I just purchased a Rossi single shot in .357 mag.  I have a nikon prostaff scope on the way.  I was wondering if I have to buy the Rossi "scope mount base kit" or can I pick up a regular scope mount base at a local store?

Also, I have seen some talk about some people reaming out there NEF .357 mag to a .357 MAX.  What I was wondering is, will the same reamer work on the Rossi?

The Rossi Scope Base is the same as for the Thompson Center (G1) scope base.

The base should come in the box with the rifle....at least mine did.

unfortunately mine didn't come with the base.  I bought a T/C base and it fit perfectly!!  Thanks for the reply!!
