Does anyone know of any special run of Centennial 30-06's that Rem is planning for 06?

Just today I got wind of a special commerative .30-06 from Remingtion.  Haven't seen the gun, but have heard Accusport is one (if not the only) distributor for it.  According to the details I was given, it'll be a stainless barrel and action in a walnut CDL stock.  I'm speaking of course of a bolt action rifle.  The other spec run that I'm aware of is a Rem M7600 w/ blond maple stocks, available from Grice Wholesale.

I think Grices (sp?) has a centennial '06 in the 7600, with that ugly maple stock, and an engraved reciever.

Maple Stock Ugly,
Maybe try that cheap sythetic stock.  Thats ugly. :D

The ss CDL special run in .30-06 is now listed on the Rem website.  SS action, 24" ss fluted barrel.  I like it, though I could do w/out the flutes.

SS fluted barrel..........EEEEEUUUUUUUU!  So much for me buying a centennial 06.
