Added another handy to the fold....

  I picked up a M48 Topper last night.  Friend of a friend need help pricing out a collection. I wasn't interested in many, but for helping out I scored a deal on a neat fold-in-half 410 Dbl Kassiner Omega and this H&R 48.

Hopefully someone will have an idea on its age. Overall its in good condition, but needs a good cleaning. has some surface rust  but the action is tight and barrel straight. Walnut stocks in nice condition!

The I prefix to the serial number denotes it was made in 1948.  Very nice piece, should be a great gun.

 Yea, I got it cleanned up last night. The bluing on the barrel is now pretty thin. But it adds to the patinna! The wood is in great shape and the trigger is horrendus!! but i like it. Hopefully I can get to the range soon, I have about three now that need shooting!!!
