Check the locking piece on the barrel that goes into the frame of the gun when it is closed. It is under spring tension, sometimes this gets dirty and will get hard to depress. Spray some gun cleaner up in there while depressing the piece, after it is cleaned you can spray some gun oil up in there. This can also be disassembled and cleaned but it is a little bit difficult to do.
