Question for all...
« on: April 16, 2003, 06:53:25 AM »
PLease accept my apologies for asking this off-topic question on this forum, but this seems to be the most frequented area and I didn't know where else to ask. When you guys ship your firearms to a, let's say, out-of-state buyer, do both handguns and rifles need to be shipped FFL to FFL or just handguns? Do FFLs usually charge on both ends or just on the receiving end? Sorry for the intrusion. GB, if this needs to be reposted within a different  discussion group, then, by all means, redirect it there. Thanks everyone.

Go to Gunbroker and check the For Sellers section at the top of the page. They explain how you can ship all types of firearms.   http://www.gunbroker.com/

And if you want the FEDERAL rules go to the ATF web site at http://www.atf.treas.gov/ and they have a technical hot line if you want to call and talk to a person, Firearms Technology Branch 202-927-7910. But make sure you check to see if there are state rules that apply if shipping within your state.
