I have a t/c super 14 with brake and would like to try some cast bullets.I have a bunch of 38-55 cast bullets will they work? They are sized .379 Also what is a good powder combo for this bullet 250g GR? I have on hand IMR 3031,h322,BLC-2,AA1680 and 2400

If one of those bullets will slip into a fired case easily I say use 'em as is. You'll probably be happiest with the 2400 and 3031 for powder. If they are plain based you may be in for some experimenting. I never did get my 375 to shoot plain base very well except under 1200 fps. With gascheck bullets it'll run up to full throttle with no problem. Works great with black powder too!

Shot 50 rounds sunday at the range.AA 1680 showed the best groups but still not that great.I will have to play with it a little more. All i had was plan base bullets so loaded lite on 25 rounds the other 25 i used upside down gas checks they seemed to shoot the best.No barrel leading to speak of.The only thng i noticed was lots of lead in my muzzle break lots of shavings. Is this normal?? Thanks in advance.
