I like the slim forearm of the cowboy. To me, this rifle handles and balances like a fine shotgun. The best offhand shooting that I have ever done was with my first 1895 cb. I always carry my shooting sticks though just in case. I like the looks of the Swift bullet but very expensive. I have over 500 of the Hornady 350's and those should work for deer, black bears, and elk here in Idaho. If I save up enough money for a bison hunt, I might try the Swift bullets.
