Help on 1895 Marlin

I had to remove the bolt at the range today to pull out a round that was too long. I removed the lever screw and pulled out the lever and then the bolt. The round came out the ejection slot and so did a spring loaded arm. I think it is the ejector and that it fits on the bolt but how does it go back in the receiver? Any help will be appreciated

The ejector with the pin goes into the hole in the receiver. tricky but it now functions perfectly.
