Are small rifle primers required/needed or can small magnum pistol primers be used?

small RIFLE primers are
required
..................no question about it
I like CCI BR-4s in mine but its all I've ever used in it.

I have checked sevrial places and all call for small rifle primers , so yes to the SRPs and no to the SPMPs

Thanks guys...I thought I was ready to reload....but...realized all I had were the small magnum pistol primers...oh well...off to the gun shop!
