My 20 likes the Rem slugers the best.  About  a 2 1/2 inch group at 50 yds.

My Mossberg 500 20 ga likes the taste of 2 3/4" Activ slugs whcih are no longer made, but I still have about 4 boxes left. My smoothbore 870 in 12 ga. liked them too, its a shame they are no longer made. I have seen alot of guys have good success with Brenneke and Federal Tru-Ball designs.

My pardner is a 12ga, but the 2 3/4" Brenneke slugs shoot the best out of all the ones I have tried in it.

I agree on the 2 3/4" Brenneke's, at least in 12 gauge. They shoot the best out of my 12 gauge Tracker I also. I have purchased some 20 gauge Brenneke slugs but have not shot them in my 20 gauge Tracker I yet....<><.... :)
