10" .30 Herrett bullet recommendations

I just got my first .30 Herrett barrel. I have a set of dies on the way. Deer season starts in two weeks, Can anyone recommend a good deer bullet / load ?  Also I would appreciate any tips for case forming.

125 gr. Nosler BT or 125 gr. Remington PSP with H4227. Start at 18 gr. and work up. Some people have reported using as much as 23 gr., but I've settled on 21 grains in my barrel. I would avoid hunting with 2400, 296, and 1680 as the flash and blast is much more severe than with 4227.

the 130g Hornady SP is also hard to beat. For case forming, take a .30-30 case and with a tubing cutter cut the neck off just a hair above where it begins to become the shoulder, lube the outside, use a Q-tip and rub a light ring on the inside, with a tapered plug run into the FL die, trim, load, shoot.

 For years I shot nothing but 110 gr'ers, but ever since the 125 BT came along...I've used nothing else, at least for deer.  John and Ron have pretty well covered it.  I've had the best results with WW brass.  Good luck and enjoy.  GOOD SHOOTIN',  Walt

I picked up a can of H4227 and a box of Noslers to day, hopefully I can get a load worked up in time to fill a couple of tags.
